As a Strategic Partner of the 32nd EuroPOWER Energy Conference and the 2nd OZE Power conference, we participated in the Meeting of the event’s Advisory Board, held on 29 July 2020.
The meeting was attended by Kamil Smuga, CIO and VP at Limitless. During the discussion on the digitisation of the energy sector, he drew attention to the aspects in which technology can facilitate communication between individuals and business entities.
He presented the application of technology for data transparency purposes, proposing to look at the topic from two angles:
– access to data: Is there transparency at the level of the energy supplier? Are there technology tools enabling access to the data? Do consumers have access to them?
– using data to take action: How can data be transferred from the consumer to the supplier? Are they received in that direction? Are they used to optimise the supplier’s operations?
